Grandiose Supermarket, the new concept grocery retail chain has opened a spacious supermarket within a dedicated community centre in Jumeirah 2. The store is conveniently located at the centre of the illustrious community in Dubai, providing the much-needed assortment of products in a unique sustainable environment.
The community can enjoy a responsible grocery shopping experience, with recycled trolleys and baskets, paper bags offered instead of plastic bags and the possibility to bring their containers.
Grandiose is offering an attractive discount of 20% on its products for the first four days commencing November 18th 2020.
The Jumeirah store is amongst the largest in the Grandiose chain, providing the customers a wide collection of products from diverse origins. Grandiose emphasizes on promoting local products and has dedicated sections in its stores, that highlights such products. Grandiose is undergoing an aggressive expansion in the UAE and in the process working with local producers and traders as partners.
In addition to Grandiose Supermarket, the 40,000 square feet community centre includes Grandiose Café, Al Soufi Roastery Shop, Fade & Play Barber Shop, Oleander Flowers Shop, Champion Laundry Kiosk, a Noon collection point and a Grandiose pet shop and gardening corner. An easily accessed parking in the basement and abundant external parking creates the requisite shopping convenience.
The opening event was attended by Her Excellency Fatima Mohammed Tawakul – Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for the Regions Sector, and His Excellency LOW Pit Chin, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Abdulla Saif Al Hathboor, Chairman of Al Hathboor Group alongside senior representatives of other industries in the UAE.
Her Excellency Fatima Mohammed Tawakul, praised the sustainability initiatives that Grandiose Supermarket is working on and commented: “ The culture of recycling that the chain lives by supports the circular economy and reduces waste and waste generation. In addition to the new store in Jumeirah 2, Grandiose currently operates 11 supermarkets in Dubai Marina Promenade, Marina Walk, Um Suqeim 1, Silicon Oasis, Barsha, Dubai Mall, Sports City, RAK Grove, Address Downtown, Masdar City and Reem Island (Abu Dhabi). The next store is set to open in December within Mina Port Wasl Properties.
