The F/W21 Season Is Back In Style With Fashionable New Collections

As Dubai welcomes the world at Expo 2020, the vibrant city is also buzzing with this year’s Fall/Winter season. Shoppers can reignite their flair for fashion with some of the trendiest and most stylish brands showcasing their new product lines and collections, during one of the season’s key festivals that further cements Dubai’s status as a globally renowned shopping destination.

Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) invites residents and tourists to witness new and unforgettable heights in retail experiences, complete with unique events, unrivalled promotions, sales, limited-edition launches, and much more.

EXCLUSIVE MALL EVENTS

  • For the very first time in the Middle East, internationally acclaimed concept store TimeVallée makes its spectacular debut at City Centre Mirdif in a pop-up format. TimeVallée’s grand entrance comes courtesy of five exceptional luxury watch houses, including; Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai and Piaget, which will dazzle shoppers and take them on an immersive journey of heritage and innovation. This exceptional experience is located at the Central Galleria of City Centre Mirdif where it will remain for six months until February 2022.
  • City Centre Mirdif will also host Style Station between 26 and 30 October, a one-off opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in a futuristic exhibition that imaginatively fuses technology and fashion. The event complements the Expo 2020 Dubai theme of “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future”, incorporating a groundbreaking take on the art and design. Visitors can expect a great spectacle brimming with breathtaking lighting, as well as awe-inspiring fashion shows and beauty activities.

RETAIL PROMOTIONS & LAUNCHES

  • Athletic footwear, apparel and accessories giant Puma is showcasing the global Infuse and Cruise Rider collections across all its Dubai stores. Clean, minimal, comfortable and stylish, Infuse features refined streetwear essentials for women, while Cruise Rider introduces a playful line of colourful sneakers with a dynamic material mix.
  • Galeries Lafayette at The Dubai Mall welcomes female and male shoppers of all nationalities to shop the Fall/Winter designer collections and high-street fashion looks from key brands until 3 November.
  • Bloomingdales at The Dubai Mall is also showcasing its FW/21 collection. Shoppers can immerse themselves in a captivating world of designer dresses, clothes, shoes, handbags, cosmetics, and more.
  • Contemporary designer fashion, denim and footwear department store American Rag Cie has also launched its sprawling Fall/Winter Collection 2021 across a wide variety of brands. In addition to distinctive, handcrafted Dubai tees by Domrebel and Lyph, Fiorucci, By Dyln and The Kript, this season American Rag Cie is also offering a range of new collections for men from Drole de Monsieur, Yeezy and Stussy, which are available to shoppers at its Mall of the Emirates, The Dubai Mall and the Galleria Mall stores.
  • Angels, the luxury kidswear boutique, is now showcasing its Fall/Winter 2021 collection. Parents can treat their fashion-conscious little ones to charming pieces from Fendi’s new kidswear collection at Angels Atlantis, as well as exuberant clothing and accessories by Kenzo and The Giving Movement – the sustainable, UAE-designed and manufactured brand which donates AED 15 to its partner charities for every item sold.

GLOBAL LUXURY BRAND ACTIVATIONS

Born of an aspiration to provide Expo 2020 Dubai and its valued visitors with the additional glamor and appeal that the occasion deserves, DFRE has created a world-class experience and worked closely with the brands involved to secure Dubai’s position as the region’s retail destination, both during Expo 2020 and beyond.

  • The F/W21 season will also see the fruit of Cartier’s collaboration with Expo 2020 Dubai in the Women’s Pavilion, which celebrates the contributions and impact of women on society, in addition to major activations by luxury brand pioneers Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
  • The Dior Riviera Cruise 22 collection will launch for the first time in the Middle East at the Dior Nammos pop-up concept store at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach. The campaign kicks off on 25 October, featuring 3D-printed installations using locally sourced clay, in a key showcase for the brand’s concern for sustainability.
  • Luxury wristwatch brand Pasha de Cartier will host an exclusive activation at Dubai Design District between 22 and 27 November, engaging audiences with the power of its story and exciting prizes.
  • The same month also marks the return of a biennial event that serves as an educational platform for sharing knowledge, building connections and celebrating watchmaking. Dubai Watch Week, which takes place from 24 until 28 November, aims to build a bridge between communities as a vital event in the Dubai calendar, and highlight the city’s status as a hub for the horological and luxury industries.
