Extraordinary destination Dubai Festival City Mall is hosting a legendary event, where plenty of special moments await at the place to be this New Year’s Eve. With 22 entertainment acts on December 31 from 6pm onwards, visitors will sing and dance to crowd favourites and unbeatable tunes as three of the world’s most loved stars take to the stage and delight mallgoers of all ages.
Kicking off the good times, Dubai Festival City Mall’s ever popular IMAGINE laser, light and fountain show will wow visitors with unique themes every hour starting 6.05pm until 1:00am. The immersive marvel will be coupled with dazzling fireworks at 9pm and 12am—a spectacle that is not to be missed at the postcard-perfect Festival Bay waterfront.
Opening acts will start with Mario Reyes The Gypsy Man playing Latin classics, to be followed by Arabic-Cuban music star Hanine. Next up is Mohamad Samih for a fusion of modern and traditional Arabic music featuring songs of Moroccan, Khaleeji, Kuwaiti, Egyptian, and Lebanese origin. American pop artist Boogie Breeze and international pop singerSS.HH.a.n.awill close the segment and prepare eager fans for the upcoming concert.
Dubai Festival City Mall visitors will be treated to the sounds of Lebanese-Armenian music legend Guy Manoukian. A renowned performer whose fusion of oriental melodies with modern masterpieces has transcended geographies, Manoukian’s is known for his sold-out concerts across the globe—with six consecutive full house shows at Dubai Opera in recent years. The Middle Eastern artist’s unique arrangements are set to bring the best of contemporary and classical to New Year’s Eve.
Yara, darling of the Arab music scene, will be performing her latest hits and most popular songs. One of the most followed celebrities in the region at almost 10 million, the Lebanese pop singer started her musical career with the release of her first single Hob Kabeer in 2005. She then released her debut album TwasaFia, which introduced everyone to her magical voice and gave her the opportunity to rise to stardom.
For the concert finale, French-Algerian singer, and actor Faudel will keep visitors fuelled throughout the rest of the night. Dubbed “The Little Prince of Raï”, he is one of the most widely recognized raï performers to have emerged in the 1990s. Faudel’s style is an incredible homage to the great masters of North African music. From 1am onwards, DJ line-up will rock the after-party vibes with back-to-back mixes of new and nostalgic sounds from afrobeat and house to hip hop.

To access the concert and firework spectacle, visitors will need to head to Dubai Festival City Mall between Tuesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 30. Shoppers who spend AED 1,000 and above will receive a VVIP wristband, AED 500 and above VIP and AED 150 and above Fan A or B – all in different colours to indicate a designated zone in proximity to the main stage. Receipts can be verified at the customer service desk.
