Wafi City is excited to announce the opening Wonderlab, a fun and engaging interactive exhibit consisting of games and many other surprises which will run from September 1 to October 31, 2021. The event features an exciting mix of science, art & technology exhibits and to add even more excitement to the activation, there will be competitions with winners receiving special gifts.
Join us every week to take part in different activities relating to the theme of the week and keep scanning the QR codes located across the mall to collect points for a chance to win a trip to London!
Spread across six zones throughout the mall, Wonderlab combines both educational and fun challenges where visitors can test their skills and knowledge of science and technology concepts, or simply enjoy the games. Wonderlab is an event aimed at giving all of you an entertaining and educational experience through the activations that were developed in cooperation with scientists and technology experts as well as gaming enthusiasts.
You will get to experience gravity with the Moon Jump or do some physical exercise like riding a bike while generating energy. You can learn how sound is created and play with musical pipes or discover how your favorite cartoons are made with the Animation activation. These are just some of the exhibits you will enjoy when you visit Wafi City’s Wonderlab.
Wonderlab will be open every Saturday – Thursday from 12pm – 10pm and every Friday from 2pm – 11pm. Make sure to keep an eye out on the Leaderboard to keep track of your competition for the grand prize!

Terms & Conditions:
1. The lucky winner of the grand prize will be confirmed on 30th October 2021, after the 8-week activation period of Wonderlab at Wafi City.
2. The prize includes:
- A visit to the British Science Museum in London for a family of four.
- The family of four is limited to two adults (18 years and above) and two children (below 18 years).
- Any additional family member or costs will need to be incurred by the winner.
- Three night hotel stay only.
- Hotel will be chosen and reserved by Wafi City and cannot be changed.
- Any expenses incurred during the stay such as dining, laundry and other room services will not be covered by Wafi City.
- Guest’s (winner) credit card details to be provided upon check in.
- The flight tickets are valid for a year from 5th November 2021 – 5th November 2022.
- The airline tickets are subject to availability and exclude travel during peak and blackout periods which includes prominent holidays, Easter & Christmas. This prize must be booked for travel during the period mentioned above. Dates for travel are also subject to seats being available. Blackout dates may apply during peak or holiday periods.
- Whilst we will do all we can to book your trip on your preferred dates, this is not always possible and we ask that you provide three options as soon as possible
- Should the winner wish to have a trip that extends the 3 nights, the additional hotel stay will need to be borne by the winner.
- Should the winner wish to book flight tickets beyond the travel days that we are providing for free, we can arrange for this but any cost difference in tickets would need to be paid by the winner.
- Wafi City will not bear the cost of accommodation beyond the three nights.
3. The winner can take three additional individuals only; any additional members’ travel will have to be managed by the winner directly.
4. The winner is responsible for all expenses and arrangements (for example, transportation to and from the departing and destination airport) not specifically included in the prize.
5. The winners must ensure that they have the correct travel documentation and obtain the relevant visas. Such travel documentation is at the sole expense of the winner. Failure to be granted a visa and or have the necessary travel documentation will result in the winner forfeiting their prize.
- The winner will then be compensated with a cash value of AED 10,000.
- In order to be granted the cash value, the winner will need to provide proof of a visa denial from the authorities for each passenger.
- Should the winner be unable to provide the proof then the prize is forfeited.
6. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, or alternatives. If the winner cannot accept a prize for any reason, the prize will be void and no compensation will be payable.
7. Prizes are not transferrable for any reason.
8. Employees of Plan B Group, Wafi Group, Wafi Tenants and their staff are not entitled to win the grand prize, if the winner is an employee, an alternative winner will require to be chosen.
9. The winner of the grand prize will be announced by 5th November and should claim the prize within 60 days from the date of announcement. Failure to accept the prize will result in an alternative winner to be selected.
10. The winner will be required to present a valid Emirates ID and passport copy to reflect the full name as entered in the competition.
11. In case the winner is a minor, a first family member (mother or father) should present the minor’s Emirates ID and passport copy along with their own Emirates ID and passport copy.
12. By participating in this promotion, the participant:
- Gives his/her consent to receive promotional information from Wafi City. Wafi City also guarantees customer information will not be shared with any third party.
- Agrees to allow their names, photographs and likeness for promotional advertising purposes without charge.
- Fully and unconditionally accepts the above terms and conditions in order to participate.
13. Wafi City reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on wafi.com. Please check the latest information posted herein to inform yourself of any changes.
