With an aim of boosting the Emirate’s burgeoning art landscape, Al Ghurair Centre, the GCC’s first shopping centre hosts another inspiring art exhibition themed ‘Stories of the Nation’. In collaboration with W2W events, the exhibition features some of the finest works by UAE-based artistes that reflect upon unity, peace and cultural diversity.
The month-long exhibition gives an overview of the UAE’s dynamic history, the richness of its culture and strong leadership. The exhibition includes portraits of the Founding Father of the UAE – Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the various facets of UAE showcasing the pride of the nation.
With varied cultural backgrounds and nationalities, these artistes expressed their gratitude towards the beautiful nation through the language of art.
Concluding this remarkable year on an inspiring note, Al Ghurair Centre is exhibiting the art series ‘stories of the nation’ as a tribute to the ‘Year of Zayed’. As part of its ongoing initiative, Al Ghurair Centre, aims to provide a platform and exposure for emerging artists in the region and keep up with the country’s love for art and talent.
