Crate And Barrel’s Latest Collection Set To Celebrate The Beauty Of The Region And Uplift The Local Community This Ramadan

With the Holy Month upon us, Crate and Barrel – owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE – is launching a very special collection in a bid to remind shoppers of what really matters during Ramadan: compassion, connection and community spirit. The brand has collaborated with local and regional designers to offer luxury furniture and homeware that will help make a difference in hundreds of homes across the region.

Inspired by the traditional landscapes, fragrances and experiences the Middle East has to offer, Crate and Barrel’s collection aims to bring everyone together in the safety and comfort of the home. Shoppers will find scented candles perfect for lighting up pre-dawn suhoors and serveware dedicated to the essential act of sharing, as well as new and exciting ways to energize the home as large gatherings remain off-limits. This includes Crate and Barrel’s unique Crescent Tree which customers can purchase to decorate as a family, serving as a timely reminder of our interconnectedness and the meaningful relationships we forge with our environment, our communities and our homes.

Featured in the assortment are an array of exclusive collections from brands such as Silsal, Ozlem Tuna, Lava Moments, and Deluxury, each with their own unique take on Arabic tradition. From contemporary twists on the ancient Bedouin art of Sadu to selections of drinkware named after the desert wind, Khamsin, there truly is something for everyone this Ramadan and many options for luxury gifting you won’t find anywhere else.

Crate and Barrel has collaborated with home-grown brand, Loompop, to offer even more one-of-a-kind pieces. As part of a very limited collection that will be introduced in May, shoppers will be able to buy bespoke products decorated with moons, stars and Arabic calligraphy. Each item is lovingly hand-painted by local artists in the UAE, with a percentage of the revenue being donated to help vulnerable members of the community.

That’s because, in an effort to share the spirit of generosity and help those in need, Crate and Barrel has partnered with Carrefour and Emirates Red Crescent this year. Aiming to feed over 25,000 people across the Majid Al Futtaim portfolio, the brand will be buying and distributing Ramadan boxes pre-packaged with essential food items across the UAE. This will help people worrying about where their next meal is coming from to relax and cherish more moments together with their families during what is supposed to be such a peaceful, Holy Month.

The Ramadan collection is available at Crate and Barrel’s Dubai stores at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, the Dubai Mall and City Centre Al Zahia. It can also be found online at crateandbarrel.me.
