The recently concluded 3 Day Super Sale (3DSS) has once again demonstrated its pivotal role in driving Dubai’s retail and tourism sectors by recording a 100 per cent increase in average consumer spending. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the city’s biggest shopping weekend was extended by an additional day for the first time this year in celebration of Eid Al Etihad 53.
Marking a significant milestone for the city’s retail sector, tens of thousands of shoppers rushed to their favourite malls and retail destinations to bag unbeatable bargains of up to 90 per cent off at 573 top brands across more than 3,000 participating outlets spanning 90 participating shopping centers and malls. Residents and visitors alike maximised their savings across a wide range of categories including beauty & wellness, fashion, sports, homeware, tech, kids’ products, toys, and more.
Commenting on the success of this year’s edition, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment said: “The record-breaking success of the 3 Day Super Sale underscores our commitment to fostering robust growth across Dubai’s dynamic retail ecosystem. 3DSS has evolved into a cornerstone of our annual retail calendar, playing an integral role in strengthening the emirate’s economic resilience and cementing the city’s competitiveness as a global retail hub. With more than 3,000 outlets and 573 brands recording significant impact on footfall and sales across the city, this year’s edition reinforces our strategic vision to position retail and tourism as key pillars of Dubai’s economic development in line with the D33 agenda.”
