Hand-woven fabric has long been an intrinsic part of the rich tapestry of life in the East. However, with changing times, the art of weaving, like many others, was slowly dying. When Khaadi opened its doors in 1998, it was with the aim to revive this tradition by giving it a solid new market. The dazzling spread of colors, textures and styles in the purest cottons and silks immediately claimed a niche in the hearts of a clientele that still favors Khaadi today – leading to a phenomenal expansion in the range of products and number of outlets spread across three cities in Pakistan.
