Dragon Mart 2 invites music lovers to experience heart-stopping songs by Filipino music icons Bamboo (Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Manalac) and Barbie (Yvette Barbra Hontiveros Almalbis-Honasan), who will be live on stage at a free-to-attend concert on Friday 12 October at 7.30pm.
Bamboo is a Filipino American musician and singer-songwriter who pursued a solo career and released his first solo album, No Water, No Moon. Barbie was formerly the lead singer of the bands Hungry Young Poets and Barbie’s Cradle, and pursued a solo career in 2005, before releasing her self-titled compilation album, Barbie: The Singles.
Bamboo and Barbie will perform hits from their own albums – and take you down memory lane with their eclectic collection of rock and pop songs. Get ready to swoon to old favourites and sing along to contemporary tracks at Dragon Mart 2 this October.
