Carrefour, operated by Majid Al Futtaim, has launched a donation campaign across its UAE stores that invites shoppers to provide boxes of essential Ramadan items to families in need during the holy month.In partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent charity, the initiative encourages customers to purchase boxes worth AED 50 or AED 100 online or in Carrefour stores across the UAE.
Each box contains essential items, such as sunflower oil, rice, sugar, juice, and lentils. The boxes willbe distributed weekly by the Emirates Red Crescent to those most in need tohelp ensure they are able to enjoy an authenticRamadan without worrying about their next meal.

A portion of the Carrefour boxes will be donated to theMohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiativesto support its‘10 million meals’campaign, which provides mealsto low-income families affected by the coronavirus pandemic this Ramadan.
