Carrefour, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim in the Kingdom of Bahrain has revealed the theme of its 2021 Ramadan Campaign, Together we Share. As a champion of its communities, Carrefour is dedicated to keeping the sacred rituals of Ramadan alive and enabling its customers to create special Ramadan moments together.
Despite a very different and unconventional Holy Month in 2020, Carrefour wants to be at the centre of helping its communities experience Ramadan as they know it; through giving and generosity, connecting with family and friends, spirituality and celebration.
Carrefour also hopes to make the Holy Month more affordable for its communities by offering customers discounts and promotions available throughout the 30-day period. Customers can enjoy discounts on all Ramadan must-haves including up to 66 per cent off on essential products, 59 per cent off on fresh food, and 50 per cent off on light household goods.
Jerome Akel, Country Manager of Carrefour Bahrain at Majid Al Futtaim Retail commented: “At Carrefour Bahrain we are committed to giving back to our community and providing our customers with all their essential needs. To ensure an exceptional Ramadan experience for all, we’re offering great promotions on a wide variety of essential Ramadan items while adhering to the health and safety of our customers”.
“Additionally, we have upgraded our online platform to allow customers to access the same promotions that are in-store from the safety and comfort of their homes through the Carrefour App – which will be delivered within 60 minutes” he added.
Giving shoppers the chance to support local farmers and suppliers, Carrefour will also promote local fresh fruits and vegetables sourced directly from local farms, offering them to customers at unbeatable prices throughout the month.
Ramadan is equally about the importance of giving back and helping those less fortunate. With a focus on community engagement, each Ramadan, Carrefour provides opportunities for customers to do their part in helping those in need. This year the brand has partnered with the Conserving Bounties Society, as well as other Charities in Bahrain, to provide 200 charity boxes that include Carrefour brand products, in addition to donations. Additionally, customers will be able to buy pre-packed boxes filled with essentials such as Carrefour branded sugar, tea, pasta, harees, flour, coffee, and cooking oil.
